A dope spot with low-key vibes and a great selection of nostalgic brands. One of the owners, Kevin, was super helpful and personable. We were just passing through town, but if we're in the area again we'll definitely be coming back!

This store has something for EVERYONE! One of the best spots in CT/in New England for curated second-hand, vintage and overall sick clothing. There’s a variety of hand-picked apparel and accessories that the owners bust their asses to find and curate. Nothing is better than stopping in and always finding something unique and different! The owners, Mettao and Kevin, are always kind and willing to give their honest opinion on what looks best with what. 10/10 could not recommend more for the savvy, experienced thrifter or the baby beginner who is just starting to dip their toes into what is a vast ocean of the second-hand and vintage community. xx

Have been here so many times and every time the owners are extremely helpful and so friendly. The owners are two very awesome guys and the pieces they bring in are so cool. Definitely worth checking out. Good selection for my girlfriend too!

I love me a vintage shop and Software meets all 5 stars! The store is a mix of men’s, women and unisex clothes & accessories with fair and affordable prices. They are a pillar in the New Haven thrift community. The owner’s are so friendly and always eager to help with anything and are always involving community members and other artists in their shop. Location, vibes, owners 10/10 they make second hand clothes accessible for all and encourage you to dress and feel your best! Long live Software!

When my favorite vintage store closed, I needed a new spot, and this place came through. They have a great selection, good prices, and the owner is really chill. Definitely my new go to!

Softwear is THE spot. Absolutely adore the owner & staff, they are incredibly helpful in store and when ordering online. I dont live in Connecticut, so whenever i see a must have piece on their site or on instagram, they make sure i get what i need quickly. Definitely recommend this place, best vintage plug on the east coast.

Softwear is the spot yall! I picked up a pair of jorts with the perfect amount of wear: exactly the kind of vintage find you hope for. Mateo, Kevin, and the whole crew are incredibly welcoming and make the shop feel like home. They’ve got some unbelievable vintage CT pieces in there. If you’re visiting New Haven, this is a must stop. Grab a coffee at Jitter Bus, ride over to Softwear to find some new digs, and go grab a slice at what joint sparks your fancy. In Good Light, ND
